There are two auditoria in the Davis Varsity Theatre. The main one has a seating capacity of 270. The smaller auditorium seats 100. The theatre has a podium and is equipped with microphones, stage lighting, and state-of-the art digital projectors.Varsity is available for rentals prior to and after our regular movie times (see our current showtimes to get a better idea).

Rental Rates:
Rental before the regular* movie hours of the day (2 hour minimum):
$295/hr      Small Auditorium
$365/hr      Large Auditorium

The theatre is not available for rental during normal hours of operation.

*The normal hours of operation can be gleaned here. Briefly, any rental on Mon-Thu must generally end by 2 pm. On Fri-Sun, any rental must end by noon.

Davis Varsity Theatre cannot be rented out during normal business hours: after 2pm Mon-Thu and after noon Fri-Sun.

We retain the right to refuse any rental we deem unfit for the Varsity Theatre.
