Varsity Theatre Rules & Policies

To help ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable moviegoing experience for everyone, we kindly ask all guests to follow these policies:

  • No outside food or beverages. As a courtesy, beverages purchased from Mishka’s Café and gelato purchased from Icekrimski Café are welcome inside the theatre.

If our staff observes any outside food or beverages inside the theatre, those items are subject to confiscation and will be held in the front lobby for pickup after the show.

Guests who do not comply with this policy or with staff instructions regarding outside food and beverages will be respectfully asked to leave the premises.

  • No alcoholic beverages are permitted.

If our staff observes any alcoholic beverages inside the theatre, those items are subject to confiscation and will not be returned.

Guests who do not comply with this policy or with staff instructions regarding alcoholic beverages will be respectfully asked to leave the premises.

  • Guests under 17 may not attend R-rated films without a parent or adult guardian. For more information about our film ratings, visit out Tickets page.
  • No outside or refillable popcorn buckets. Popcorn purchased at the theatre is served in our provided bags only.
  • Please silence or turn off phones and other electronic devices before the movie begins.
  • Please be respectful of fellow guests and avoid talking, texting, or other disruptive behavior during the film.
  • Running, horseplay, or disruptive conduct is not permitted anywhere in the theatre.
  • Shoes and shirts must be worn at all times.
  • Please keep aisles, exits, and walkways clear for the safety of all guests.
  • Children must be supervised by a parent or responsible adult at all times.
  • Flash photography, video recording, and audio recording of any portion of the film are strictly prohibited.

Theatre management reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any guest whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or violates these policies. No refunds will be issued to guests removed for policy violations.
